SES-imagotag (Euronext: SESL, FR0010282822), the global leader in Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) and retail IoT solutions, today announces the signature of a first contract with Colruyt Lowest Prices, the leading Belgian food retailer for a full roll-out in Belgium.
After an in-depth testing phase of all the solutions available in the market to automate prices and product information at the shelf, the retail chain Colruyt, Belgium’s leading grocer, has chosen SES-imagotag’s VUSION solution to digitize all its 238 stores.
The reasons why Colruyt chose the VUSION solution were:
- SES-imagotag’s unequalled expertise in color e-Paper technology (reinforced by its strategic alliance with E Ink) which enables Colruyt to perfectly digitalize and display its iconic visual communication («red prices»);
- A solution including the development of a specific label format (VUSION 3.7) with new improved capabilities that match their store merchandising concept perfectly.
This contract covers the accelerated deployment of nearly 3 million VUSION smart labels within the 238 Colruyt Lowest Price stores in Belgium, a country where the retailer is N°1. This contract is also the very first color e-Paper roll-out in the food retail sector encompassing all store areas.
